With the support of a Play is Making A Difference grant, we spent a week working with groups of young men with learning disabilities to create a Graffiti Art exhibition. We worked with young men from youth groups including Barnardos, the Tipton Muslim Community Centre, and Funerama, to learn the art of how to graffiti on to canvas. The young people discussed issues that make a difference to their lives and created pieces of graffiti art that were inspired by their thoughts. On the final day, all of the groups came together to spray the themes of their workshops onto a car that was donated by Sandwell Police and transported to The Public by Star Autos. The end result was an amazing work of art that went on display at The Public.
